Rest'er Day
This week on Why Not Burger, I'm going to review a restaurant, of course it's gotta have burgers!, near Thammasat University Rungsit Campus. The restaurant is called Rest'er Day and it is opposite of the University. I went to Rest'er Day with my friends. They told me about this restaurant and I just knew about it even though I am a Thammasat uni student for almost two years.... Anyway, I decided to order Double Fish burger and let say, it was worth my money since the portion of the food was huge. The dish is 189 baht and it was served with fries, not ordinary fries but fries with spice and it was sooooooo goooooooooood.
When the burger was served, I was so shocked with the size of the dish and really impressed with the price because it is on the budget and cheap comparing to those burger restaurants in Bangkok which one dish of burger could cost about 300-500 baht. By the way, the burger consisted of two large pieces of crispy fried fish, cheese, green and homemade sauce. The bun here was soft and coated with butter.
The fish was soft but the outer coat was not really crispy. Moreover, in my opinion, I felt the fish was greasy maybe because it was oily. The homemade sauce was good and it went well with all the ingredients. Overall I would give it 3.5 out of 5 because well the size was really worth my money but I didn't finish it since I felt greasy.
If you are interested in coming to Rest'er Day, they offer you plenty space of parking. Moreover, not only they have burgers but also steaks and spaghetti. The service here was nice and staffs were all friendly.
